The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office will conduct a public safety exercise from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Friday, July 26 at Pizzo Elementary School, located at 11701 Ôƶ¥¶Ä³¡app Bull Run Drive on the Ôƶ¥¶Ä³¡app campus in Tampa. During this drill, expect an increased law enforcement presence near the elementary school.
The exercise will have an impact on the following roads and parking lot on Friday:
- Northbound Ôƶ¥¶Ä³¡app Bull Run Drive at Fowler Ave. Closed 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Eastbound Ôƶ¥¶Ä³¡app Alumni Drive at Ôƶ¥¶Ä³¡app parking lot 22 Closed 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Southbound Ôƶ¥¶Ä³¡app Bull Run Drive at Ôƶ¥¶Ä³¡app parking lot 22F Closed 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Ôƶ¥¶Ä³¡app parking lot 22F Closed 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Message boards will be in place reminding drivers of road closures. In order to avoid any traffic delays, Ôƶ¥¶Ä³¡app community members and visitors should use these suggested alternate routes:
- Main entrance located at Fowler Avenue and Ôƶ¥¶Ä³¡app Leroy Collins Boulevard
- East access located at Ôƶ¥¶Ä³¡app Elm Drive and Ôƶ¥¶Ä³¡app Holly off of 50th Street
