Location of new Student Health and Wellness Center to help improve emergency response times

The ƶijapp Medical Response Unit has expanded its presence at ƶijapp with first responders stationed on both sides of the Tampa campus. It’s now headquartered at the Student Health and Wellness Center while maintaining its space in the ƶijapp Health College of Nursing building.

It’s one of the most modern buildings on campus, and its design is reflective of a post-COVID-19 era. ƶijapp’s new three-story, 47,000-square-foot Student Health and Wellness Center is nearly four times the size of the old Student Health Center, which had been located near the ƶijapp Tampa bookstore since 1980.
